2.5 pounds skinned, cored and chopped apples
1.5 medium size, finely chopped green onions
6 cloves finely chopped garlic
1/2 cup butter butter
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1.5 teaspoons freshly ground cumin
Melt butter, add olive oil then add onions, garlic and cumin. Cook until onions wilted
Add the apple and cook covered for 15 minutes under low heat until softened .
Break down mixture with spoon to desired consistency.
For different flavor add jalapeño and or lemon juice.
