Chocolate Soufflé

6 ounces semisweet chocolate pieces

1/2 cup sugar

1/3 cup milk

4 egg yolk

6 egg whites

1/4 cup sugar

powdered sugar

Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter 6 individual soufflé dishes or 1 large soufflé dish and sprinkle lightly with powdered sugar.

Combine chocolate, sugar, and milk in medium saucepan. Set over low heat and cook, stirring frequently, until chocolate is melted. transfer to a mixing bowl and cool slightly

Beat in yolks and set aside.

Beat egg whites in medium bowl until firm (whites are stiff and glossy). Stir in half of whites into chocolate mixture then carefully fold in remaining whites, blending thoroughly. gently spoon into prepared dishes. Bake 20 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
