2 cups chickpeas
1 1/2 teaspoons salt, kosher or rough sea salt
8 cloves garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup tahini (sesame paste)
6 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
8 dashes tabasco
Place all the ingredients in the bowl of a food processor fitted with a steel blade and process until the Hummus is coarsely pureed. taste for seasonings and serve chilled or at room temperature.
