Planter's Punch

4 ounces golden Jamaican rum 

1/2 ounce simple syrup 

1/2 ounce fresh lime juice with pulp

2 ounce fresh OJ with pulp removed

3 dashes Angostura bitters

Combine ingredients in a tall glass and fill with crushed ice. 

Swizzle with a bar spoon until a frost forms on the outside of the glass. 

The ice will settle as you do this; add more crushed ice to fill, 

Garnish with a thin slice of lime .

or make a batch and store in freezer which is my prefered approach

Versatile as can be. Grenadine can be substituted for the simple syrup and you can halve the Oj and replace with Pineapple. I have made with blood orange and the effect is beautiful. The trick is to balance the sweet and sour

48 ml alchohol (glass of wine about 20ml)
